reslices

reslices are the result of experimenting and exploiting analytical software techniques. Reslices of  emulsional,  develop, crysalis and dissolve are presented. In each instance, stills from each moving image are stacked into frames (1fps), and sliced at 1pixel intervals across the time-axis. This approach creates completely different representations of time-based works by offering top-down cross-sections through the moving image. It is a form of temporal dissection and reconstruction.
